DTEC PRO Opens New Control Systems and Engineering Centre
DTEC PRO is excited to announce the opening of our new Control Systems and Engineering Centre, which officially opened in February 2026. This new facility represents a significant investment in our capabilities and strengthens our ability to deliver innovative control systems, software and automation solutions to clients across the South West.
The centre provides a dedicated space for our experienced engineering team to deliver a complete range of services, including:
Control Panel Design & Manufacture
PLC & HMI Software Services
Automation Solutions
Offsite Builds
Upgrades & Maintenance
Testing & Commissioning
With over 100 years of combined experience within the team across control systems, automation, software engineering and electrical design, DTEC PRO has the expertise to develop bespoke engineering solutions tailored to each client's requirements.
Supporting the Complete Product Lifecycle
The Control Systems and Engineering Centre allows DTEC PRO to support clients throughout the complete lifecycle of their control systems — from initial consultation, design and software development through to panel build, testing, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
Our team can also undertake cost-benefit analysis to help clients identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and performance while reducing whole-life operating costs.
The dedicated facility also enables us to undertake offsite control panel builds and testing, helping to reduce installation time, minimise disruption to operations and improve project delivery. Where required, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) can be completed before equipment reaches site.
Investing in Innovation
The opening of the centre reflects DTEC PRO's continued commitment to innovation and engineering excellence. By combining extensive industry experience with modern technologies and automation solutions, we can help our clients improve processes, optimise existing systems and develop future-ready infrastructure.
As a mechanical and electrical engineering company based in North Devon, the new Control Systems and Engineering Centre further strengthens our ability to provide integrated MEICA, electrical, automation and control systems services across the South West and beyond.
We would like to thank our team, clients and partners for their continued support as we continue to invest in our people, facilities and capabilities. We look forward to developing the centre further and sharing the innovative projects that come through its doors.
